Lani Ford has been on the air on weekends at New York City's 95.5 WPLJ for almost 9 years now, after stints in Texas and Ohio and 5 years on Good Day New York as the Fox 5 traffic authority.
Otherwise, she can be seen rocking out in various New York and New Jersey clubs as the singer and bass player in her band STARK or singing and playing solo acoustic guitar. STARK will release their 3rd album in 2010.
Lani has also been an actress almost all of her life, starring in the horror film ZOMBIE CULT MASSACRE and appearing in over 100 plays from Shakespeare to children's theatre as well as small roles in commercials, movies and television. She has her own self-penned one-woman show, The Restless Muse.
During the summer months, you might meet up with Lani boogie-boarding at Rockaway Beach. In the meantime, she is married to Richard, a drummer of course, and they live on the Lower East Side with their chihuahua, Streak.
